Each year, approximately 15 of the 70 TCNJ Bonner students receive support from the Corporation for National and Community Service and participate in the New Jersey Bonner Leaders Program, serving as members of AmeriCorps.
In addition to being part of the college corps, these students are also part of a regional initiative involving students from a number of other New Jersey colleges and universities. The list of participating schools appears below.
The New Jersey Bonner Leader AmeriCorps program has also allowed TCNJ to create a “5th year” of service for some Bonners. These students graduate and fill Full Time AmeriCorps positions (Democracy Project Fellows) and coordinate one of the Center’s major initiatives.
